KRIBHCO the fertiliser giant, spreads its wings into new space



The Cooperative giant Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (KRIBHCO) manufactures fertilisers mainly UREA. The company plans to diversify itself into two new fields namely Infrastructure Sector and Telecom Sector.

For trying its fate into infrastructure space the company incorporated a fully owned subsidiary, Kribhco Infrastructure Limited (KRIL) for undertaking new logistics business and infrastructure projects.

Similarly to enter into telecom sector, the company make a joint venture with Anil Ambani's Reliance Telecom and this J/V company will cover the rural population of India.


Earlier the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), the world's largest fertiliser manufacturer had diversified itself into Insurance Sector and had a joint venture with TOKIO. This J/V company is known as IFFCO-TOKIO and doing good business.
